Have 4 nights booked in the Confidante later this month. It was weekend when I booked, so the Mainz office was closed. Called the US Globalist line and she said there are no Suites available for TSU use. Utter nonsense, as a Miami Suite was available, but wanted to hear of other options. Called my MHC Monday morning in Mainz and sure enough she could have confirmed a Miami Suite. I was looking into other suites though with balcony and ocean view though and did not take the offer, but booked a higher category room with the features I want.
what surprises me is that some agents just don‘t know much of the Globalist perks. I would assume they are long-standing agents with good knowledge and performance over the years, but no…. really disappointing.
Slightly off topic, but I would much rather have an ocean view room than the Miami Suite - I was given one at first and found it terribly dark with the space laid out in a non-useful manner. Of course, I ended up with a stunning ocean-front suite in the end - lovely property, just not the Miami Suite.
