I'm scheduled to fly to Europe for a couple of days early next month. I'm flying PE on the TATL legs (on AC) and the return trip involves an intra-Europe positioning segment (in Y) on Swiss. I've been receiving frequent seat reassignment emails for the LX segment over the past two weeks. They're stupid changes of only 1 or 2 rows, but I'm now getting them pretty well every day.

Is there something going on here I'm not aware of? In 40 years of flying I've never experienced seat changes like this. I'm tempted to pre-emptively rebook on a different route, but this one has the best combination of departure time and minimal layover.

Has anyone else experienced this and, if so, is it a red flag I'm just not aware of? As much as I like Switzerland, I don't want to find myself stuck there.
