What is the process for this skullduggery?
I'm kind of amazed someone could hit "soon to be titanium" and think it is "skullduggery" that they aren't upgraded days in advance to a suite? Skullduggery is deception. there is no deception here, just a refusal to give you a benefit you are not entitled to. That is not a published benefit, nor is it a reasonable expectation or a reason to be anything but kind and gentle with hotel staff.
Update: it appears OP made a similar complaint about not being upgraded to a suite in advance 8 months ago, and was given the same explanation that he wasn't entitled to any such thing then.
