Yes revenue P allows free SDC within NA. If the route is the same and there is space in the cabin, it should be offered when online check in opens through the app/website. If that doesn't work you have to go to the airport and ask for it in person (unless you are super elite).
What happens if you have an international itinerary and you want to SDC a NA segment? Like, say you have DUB-YYZ-YUL and you land early in YYZ? After going through immigration and security can you use SDC to move to the next flight to YUL? Is it the same answer if the segment is outside YYZ/YOW/YUL?
