I transferred miles from my joint amex with my husband naively assuming the "redemption partner" on SQ meant that I could share both of our miles. We now are approx 25,000 miles short of booking both redemption seats on my account with 25,000 miles sitting dormant on my husband acc. SQ said nothing they can do save for to advise to mix miles and cash which is taking the booking from 207,000 miles + $100 to plus $4700!

Any ideas what to do- we have no remaining amex points to transfer right now?
