Hi Everyone

I am using this service next month. What time can you check in bags from the day before? LGW website suggests after 1800hrs for BA.

I am sure when we did it back in June we checked them in at about 1630/1700hrs.

We will be arriving by train at about 1600hrs obviously at the South Terminal, but our hotel is the Premier Inn at the North (Hilton was ridiculously expensive).

I don't fancy trekking our cases on the monorail to the North, then back again to check them in at 1800hrs, then monorailing back to the hotel again.

Would we be able to get away with dumping the cases at about 4pm? It is me, the wife, and my parents. The wife and me are gold so can use F check in if that helps.

Also, is the Beehive Pub open yet in the South? As would be nice to go there for a 'proper' pint (i.e. not lager) before we get the monorail to the North? Gatwick was so busy when I was there in June, I was amazed they hadn't reopened by then!
