Reward availability on Cathay but not showing on BA

Hi y'all

I need to get to Taiwan in the next month or two. I don't hace much $ but have bags of avios.

I can't see much reward availability via exec club but when I search on cathay I can see plenty of seats (albeit they require asia miles and not avios).

If I see seats on Cathay can I call BA to book those with avios? Thanks
