Slightly OT, but I have on an Air India flight where they ran out of a particular dish and I was one of three passengers in the business cabin. Apparently they had loaded two of that dish, but I thought it was strange that only one of the remaining two passengers were eventually served that dish. Hence my suspicion is that the crew had kept the other dish for themselves.

After expressing dissatisfaction at the "math" that didn't quite make sense, viola, the crew "produced" that dish for me, but the portion looked much smaller than expected - almost like someone had split the portion into two and tried to get away with serving just a half portion to me! It was truly a bizarre moment...
