As aside, it is interesting how many OW airlines are now not using the QF lounges as the preferred. BA and CX = The House and QR now with the NZ lounge. Does not bode well for QF F lounge opening times if OW airlines agree that the QF J is not good, but actively nudge people towards Contract lounges. Not sure if it is related but also those flights are now routinely taking off from the other pier.
Might simply be that Qantas is charging less than the operators of the other lounges- could be a totally commercial decision. And yes airlines will try to prefer lounges located in the same pier.
