What's the latest carry on roller bag situation on these planes? I'm considering booking an AA flight from SEA-LAX on an E175, and we don't want to check any bags. In my previous experiences, these types of planes gate check rollerbags at SeaTac, but not sure what happens at LAX.

The carry-on vs checked baggage situation these days has likely exacerbated any of the previous carry-on baggage challenges, so I'm hoping to get any recent travel experiences. Thanks!
