There was some confusion ~4 days ago about this but Lufthansa clarified ~3 days ago there was no such ban.

One of the problems seems to be syndicated mainstream media still republishing an incorrect story and travel bloggers still writing about the topic without checking if it's actually correct.

Clickbait news sites such as news.com.au only published their story a few hours ago despite the fact this story simply isn't correct.
