Correct. I have no idea what "iconic spa pool" means, but it is a nice pool with more privacy than the main pool. Personally, I prefer my pools to be empty, so I usually go swimming very early in the morning or late at night.
I like my pools to be filled with water, but to each his/her own. As for the pools at the Manchester, I've stayed there in rooms with views of the pool. I don't find their pools attractive at all. Probably even less attractive than the hotel overall. To me, a mediocre, undistinguished convention hotel with crappy furnishings, weak breakfast buffet, and diffident, uninspired service.
