Would like to echo a lot of what's been said. My routine/practice:
- try and book a bulkhead seat if available
- Have a light dinner in the airport at least 1-2 hours before the flight
- I accept that the drinks/dinner service will be noisy, so I'll have 1 small glass of red wine
- Change into pyjamas and fluffy socks
- If I have a bulkhead seat, I'll inflate my foot cushion e.g.
- I have a turtl neck pillow
- The minute break service is over, it's eye mask on, seat reclined, sleep!
