I had an AANYC voucher & an AABOS voucher for free travel. Since they were 2 slightly different vouchers (each was for a free ticket anywhere AA metal flies), my friend's ticket was $5 extra because these vouchers were treated as 2 different vouchers. My ticket was exempt because I am Exec Plat.

I commented that the paper vouchers were issued before the $5 ticketing charges came out. Anyway, $5 is not alot of $ but it is annoying.

The only good thing was we were able to get seats to Maui on this award. ^
Total cost was $25 for the 2 tickets. ^
