What is amazing is the fact that AC didn't get it right in many years they practicing zoned boarding. Special case are airports with contracted. I've seen local agents saying "I don't care about zones", or simply managing it badly. This Sunday at MBJ: A 50+ person lineup at Zone 1+2 lane. An agent tried to separate different zone holders in the line up, but with not much success. Assuming there weren't 20+ SE's on this flight I activated my inner DYKWIA and cut into the line in front of the first Zone 2 holders. Most likely in front of some Zone 1's as well.
It doesn't feel good to use a published benefit this way.
