Just flew JNB (South Africa) - DOH-FRA and back. The outgoing legs were at the end of September 2022 and the dinner service in Business Class was still hybrid. On the return 2 legs FRA-DOH and DOH-JNB, the dinner service was as it was pre-Covid, i.e., each table was prepared individually and each course served one after another, with no sight of the tray. The FAs said that this restarted from October 1st, 2022. Very pleased with it all but one can see that some of the newer FAs are not used to the much more hectic pace. We were seated in the middle EF (non-Q) and one of us was ahead of the other one by 2 courses. This is most likely a learning curve and we are confident that things will just get better from here.
