My 2 cents worth having done way too many JFK-LHR red eyes.

Take a day flight if you can and use the Wi-Fi to work if your aircraft has it.

Get one of the last flights out.

Pay extra for an hour exit row if you don’t have free access via status.

Eat and relax in the lounge if you have access. I have one glass of wine, no more. An airborne hangover is horrible. Bring a bottle of water onboard.

After take off, earplugs in, eye mask on. Hopefully you’ll be asleep before the drinks service and stay that until the pre-landing announcement.

Stay awake till bedtime. Shower, plenty of daylight and stay hydrated on arrival.
