Good stay at Seabird. TSU to Grand Ocean. Really nice room. The southern most ocean facing corner. Third floor. The motorcycles and loud cars is a bit of an annoyance when sitting on the balcony but mostly quiet in the room itself. View is pretty amazing. Piper breakfast was great. Comped as a Globalist though there was a small charge some days for gratuity. Maybe there is a cap on tips.

As others have said, hard product spectacular. New, clean, Valet was really great and helped me out of a jam at one point. Rest of service was kind of meh. Housekeeping is weird and inconsistent. I don’t care but Mrs. lkar does and so this was a bit of a problem. Minor overall though.

6 percent just because surcharge on everything.

One thing I did not understand before arriving — no MP pool access for guests staying at the Seabird. Not sure why I thought otherwise. I must have read something somewhere incorrectly but they were emphatic and keys did not work. Really looked nice and kind of bummed. Excuse to try MP if we ever try to come back.

Not sure that Oceanside is our cup of tea, but great stay.
