Not surprising, although I think Delta may and possibly should open it up slightly more in the future, especially if these higher tier lounges expand to other Delta hubs. I understand the goal of keeping crowds down and keeping a prestigious feeling. I'm all for that. That said, I can't imagine opening it up to PM/ DMs on paid F with a fee on top (subject to available space) would completely fill a club and could be profitable for Delta. Or maybe make two entry passes a choice benefit. Maybe it will never happen and maybe it shouldn't but as frequent Delta flyer but not one that expects to be D1 very often, it would be nice when I fly through LAX or JFK or other future locations to have at least some possibility to enter. Regardless, I'm excited for these clubs and hope to see more from Delta.
