We had an 8 hours quick stay there in September on our way to Maldives. We did not want to sit for 10 hours at the airport so we chose to just go to hotel and work/sleep a bit. The place is awesome in my view and they treated us great. I'd say that treatment and Globalist recognition was better than at Park Hyatt Doha which we usually frequent b/c of location downtown. We got an upgrade to a huge suite with wrap around balcony. There were also some fruits left for us and full bottle of red wine. Since it was not an overnight stay we did not try the wine but I was quite impressed with this as a welcome gift (something like this happened to us only in Andaz London). We went to the lounge which was crowded. We are still covid conscious so we did not want to eat there so the staff just asked us to pick things that we want and delivered it as a room service at no charge - they said we can take whatever we want but booze. Swimming pool was open and not crowded. Overall, a great place and if you don't need to be downtown definitely a solid choice. There is also metro station 5 minutes walk so transportation is pretty good despite it being somewhat far from all the attractions.
