Forgot to post here - was here for 3 nights in September. Was also upgraded to the same suite as others have reported. Excellent room but had some funny idiosyncrasies - such as the shower took a while to get warm and at the same time would trigger the extra steam function in the "starlight shower". Vaporetto (water taxi) to/from Venice from Murano was excellent - max wait in sept was about 5 min, the journey itself took 12-18 minutes. However if you needed to get to St. Mark's then it's either a bit of a hike or on the vaporetto for another 30 min to get around the island. We chose to walk it and explore the city that way.
Others have also said murano does become quiet after 1700h/1800h and that holds true. There is an excellent panino shop around the corner, and we also picked up our own ingredients for a picnic (at the nearby grocery/carrefour) in the front for an afternoon snack.

Breakfast spread was at the main restaurant in the courtyard area. excellent - lots of options and food was very tasty.
