The problem is really the TBIT terminal itself is horrible. There's inadequate number of security checkpoint lanes, the counters are laid out in a bad fashion, and the flights (not just CX) all seem to depart within a 3 hour window.

QF's ground handling is a lot better since they're over in T4 along with the bulk of AA flights. That's where CX should go, in the long term.
