AA does offer INF fares on the QR codeshare flights but these need to be issued as AA and likely require your adult ticket to be AA coded as well. Just ask to book the codeshare and reference the AA PNR. QR should also be able to issue the ticket but agents are clueless. Ask for a supervisor.
