KLM Economy Standard "Plus" fares...
Does anyone here know much about the Economy Standard "Plus" fares on KLM?
I'm flying YYC-AMS, and this route does not have full premium yet. There is Economy Comfort at the front of the economy cabin.
I booked the "Plus" fare at extra cost as, according to the KLM website, it includes an Economy Comfort seat. However, when I try and pre-select seats on the app or website, it only offers me standard seats for free. Comfort seats are another CAD96 per leg.
I used my company's agency to book the fare, both standard and standard plus were offered with the same pricing as on KLM's site.
KLM says that fare only includes the comfort seat at check-in? The standard fare includes regular advanced seat selection, so I thought the "plus" fare would include the same for the comfort seats?
Would I have been better booking the standard fare, then upgrading each leg individually? Or would it have been more than CAD96 per leg to do that?
Agency says call airline, KLM are firm in their position, and even trying to offload to Delta as it's a Delta numbered ticket, despite being a KLM marketed flight on KLM metal.
Thanks in advance,
