QR kicked me out of my seat / seatmap problems

I am on QR 728 out of PHL tonight. I booked and confirmed seat 3A 9+ months ago. This was an AA award. My AA app showed and continues to show my seat as 3A, however when I checked in today I was handed a BP for 10G. This is NOT acceptable to me. QR blamed AA for it, AA blamed QR, no one wants it to be their fault, but no one will fix it for me. They say it's airport control now and of course the desks aren't open yet and 3A is of course now occupied by someone else. HOW is it possible that I was kicked out of my confirmed seat? There was no schedule change, equipment swap or anything like that.

Finally, EF continues to show J=2 and the seatmap shows 2 window seats available, yet when I go into my booking on the QR website it shows the entire business cabin grayed out so I cannot change. Why would they do this? If they are still selling biz seats, you'd think every seat is not currently occupied and the seatmap from the QR system confirms this. I would still be salty to be booted out of 3A which I planned for, reserved and confirmed months ago, but a window would make me less angry and QR is thwarting me on this. Ideas?
