I did a match to UA earlier this year.

C+ has free drinks and E+ doesn’t.

DL had tv screens on almost all mainline planes, UA doesn’t.


My RUCs have cleared without issue this year (all to/from SFO). My MUA/PP have also all cleared from PE to Polaris (including one battlefield for EWR - ZRH that cleared after I boarded) but I’ve had a hard time clearing domestically (hard to find PZ space).

UA has a much better partner network in both Europe and Asia. Personally I prefer Polaris hard product over D1 hard product (especially if stuck on a 763). I agree with you though that LH J hard product is dreadful and I think AF is better (KLM is more of a wash).

UA has much better award redemptions. I just booked 2x J round trip to Europe for 120k and that includes an excursion just one-way from BCN - LIS in J that saves us a couple hundred dollars on an intra-Europe flight — unless get a lucky DL D1 award fare sale you aren’t getting that on DL.
