Not really. It's "better" with eUps, but if I have 10 2023 eUps and 10 2024 eUps, and both are applied to separate bookings, if I fly the booking using the 2024 eUps, and THEN cancel the one using the 2023 eUps, I've used the 2024 and still have the 2023.
But it's less of an issue because eUps generally expire on one specific date, every year. Priority rewards expire one year after they're earned, so you can have a much larger range of PR expiries.
