Skymiles biz redemptions certainly haven't improved any in recent years. Partner US-EU awards now start at 120K miles each way (there are three levels based on advance purchase with 120K level requiring 60 day advance purchase). DL D1 US-EU awards now vary by route and require a roundtrip booking for the lowest award levels (you will pay more miles if booked as one ways). There are rare 48 hour award sales where they can be decent values, but most routes seem to start at 300K miles or more roundtrip. The main exception seems to be BOS-LHR route where D1 awards are available from 172K miles roundtrip. However, this level requires mid-week travel and if you want to leave/return around weekend days, the mileage levels are somewhat higher.
