I didn't see this topic addressed in a search and figured I can't be the only one.

Now that AA have moved to Loyalty points and many sources, including car rentals) count, crediting the miles can matter for more than just award miles.

I have credited several rentals to my account and, at 1250 miles/LP each, that's not too shabby.

I'd like the credit some to my wife's account so she doesn't fall behind on her count (all my Avis account).

Do they match the name to the FFN listed in the account, or will it just go to hers even if I do the rental? I figure that, if I call Avis they'll just say that it has to be my account, but that may, or may not, be the real situation
