Boston seems insanely expensive all the time.
Oct 11 is the day after Thanksgiving, so maybe a lot of people are spending a bit more time visiting their family and leaving later. Then there's the "H
ead of the Charles Regatta" 10 days later, it's the world's largest rowing event and attracts a ton of people, maybe they arrive early. There might be some Oktoberfest events as well.
