The amendment option on an old booking stops at 24 hours to departure, and that has a change fee. But if you bought the ticket at 25 hours to departure I believe you can still amend it without change fee for 24 hours, effectively allowing a free delay to a later flight. If bought at 23 hours you get a completely inflexible booking, no changes, no refund.
