I think it’s more representative of the frustration many feel about a fairly significant part of an expensive long haul ticket.
i always thought the food was ok never fantastic, always very edible and most often quite enjoyable
being used to the rubbish we got or “don’t get” in NA, I found BA quite nice. To be honest
that being said even several years ago I often bought a picnic from plane foods or F&M to have on board as well as it was also quite pleasurable
There are lots of options to get at the airport or even bring with some sammy’s and snacks from home to keep myself satiated. I’ve never ever thought of an airplane as a source if quality food
It’s all expectations and personal preference
