Currently at this hotel and will highlight a few things others forgot to mention.

- lack of elevators / accessibility ramps, etc. I told them I was bringing my 17 month old daughter and yet they put me on the highest (3rd floor) which means I literally have to carry the stroller up multiple flights. They are apparently addressing this with changing us to a beach front room on our 3rd night but not impressed
- hotel is relatively massive / long (believe they told us it stretches 1km). This isn’t a bad thing but something to be aware about if you’re going to use services like their kids club which is the exact opposite of the nirvana section
- kids under 4 require a dedicated babysitter which has to be booked one day in advanced. Rates are reasonable for the day and go up later (highest at night). See image below

- I will say there is a bit of a slight “class” structure / feeling based on your room number / package you signed up for. Most people in this forum will be room only and I do feel a bit lesser given I don’t have half or full board or nirvana
- nirvana section is at one end of the resort and I actually found the pool less visually appearing. But as noted they get free non alcoholic drinks at their pool bar and I believe alcoholic drinks at certain happy hour times of the day at their pool bar.
- the manager mentioned all rooms have been fully renovated except a portion of nirvana
- there is still some construction going on but it’s mostly below the main lobby. We did hear some noise at the main pool but it wasn’t too bad
- restaurants include an Italian, Mediterranean, Indian and “all purpose” one where you also have breakfast. The last one has different options each day (e.g. Asian buffet, Italian buffet, etc.)
- gym is fantastic and one of the best hotel gyms I’ve been to. All new equipment including full squat rack
- overall I’d say my stay so far is just okay. Was told I was upgraded to an ocean front room but checking my reservation in April I see that was the room I booked. Apparently the only upgrade just a higher floor but given my life stage that actually is more inconvenient
- they did seem dumbfounded I even tried to ask for one as a LT platinum. I think SNAs are the way to go but I also believe the hotel is nearly fully booked as I wasn’t able to see any suites other than in the nirvana section. After my stay here I’ll then get SNA’s from 50 nights
- welcome gift was decent with a full bottle of red wine, hat and nice scarf
- I’ll also add that although it is not very accessible friendly, there are a ton of parents with kids here like myself. All seem to be having a decent time but aren’t fully impressed and often try to venture off the hotel
- they also charge for water in the restaurants although the bottles are the exact same that they provide you in the room which sort of annoyed me. Don’t mind paying for bottled water but expect it to be different
- some water activities require a day notice such as the glass bottom floor. Others can be taken out on the spot (e.g. paddle boards)
- although the hotel says it’s close to capacity, it almost feels quite empty. I believe this is because there’s an 80 person conference here and they are likely in sessions all day
