Question What actually *are* the Delta special meals?

Next week I'm traveling with my elderly mom from MSP to MCO on Delta, first class. She doesn't like any of the regular meal offerings. I looked at special meals, but they only list the attributes (non-dairy, halal, etc.) and not what the food actually IS. She's not an adventurous eater and non-western cuisines scare her, LOL. She'd be happy with a simple sandwich, or spaghetti, or something meat-and-potatoes that she can recognize. She doesn't want to take a chance in case she doesn't like it because that would be "wasting food." (And yeah, if nothing else, we can always eat during the layover or pack her a sandwich; it's only a 3-hour flight, and a bonus of not eating is we can keep our masks on).

Has anyone here ordered a Delta special meal lately so you can tell me what it actually is? Thanks!
