I've posted this in the CW food forum, but this all changes from 1 November. We're getting a choice of starter, food courses served individually, a hot pudding option and hot towels. Hopefully if this means more table service it will also give the option to ask for refills, too.
Even pre-pandemic, I've flown CW where the service was a little variable. I remember flying to LAX where we were served so many topups that I felt 🤢 by the second meal. Whereas I flew YVR and we rarely saw the crew! Once they'd served the puddings, we were left for ages with our dirty crockery and no topups offered after that. Crew appeared to give up!
