BOM-CDG is AF
CDG-DTW IS DL
DTW-ATL IS DL

I guess I have to live with PE seat in AF and DL however bad it is. I just bought the ticket via AF site.

I see z class available in CDG-DTW, So could try to use a GUC, but BOM-CDG is not available in AF. Not sure if I can waitlist at AF

In terms of connecting, I echo those who have said DTW is the best option for multiple reasons. DTW is a pretty easy airport for international arrivals and far less likely to be prone to ATC delays. All the airports you’ve listed still have the potential for WX delays in December but DTW is probably the best for recovery in the event of IROPS.
