Trying to get business class award for NCE-CDG-LIM operated by AF. Both segments are available for miles in J on preferred dates. However as single ticket not available on preferred dates (but available on other dates so it's definitely valid routing and can be ticket by Delta).

​​​​​​Spoke to Diamond desk, asked to ticket manually, there is nothing they can do. According to agent they can break married segments for Delta flights (and only as exception with supervisor approval) but for AF not possible.

Anyone else had positive or negative experience overriding married segments on partner awards?
