Alternatively does anyone know if an Uber will take to a local hotel. I've had issues in the past with getting Ubers short distances from airports.
Finally, if I do have to connect to a domestic terminal, am I right in thinking that it's a landslide bus?
I'm a little confused, since you're asking about some very different scenarios. Is this for a specific situation, or just for general edification?
I can't speak to the hotel shuttles at the Intl. terminal. It seems as though I may have seen one or two there in the past, but I wouldn't count on it. However, I don't think there would be any problem getting a ride share or taxi to a nearby hotel. At all. Assuming you are arriving from an international flight, you CANNOT take the plane train over to the domestic terminal UNLESS you have a connecting flight. Doesn't matter if you've checked bags or not. I've tried, multiple times (although admittedly not since Covid, so maybe something has changed? I doubt it). Without that boarding pass for another flight, you are steered out into Intl. Arrivals.
I would love to take the "landslide bus."

It's bound to be better than the horrific shuttle buses the airport actually runs. That is the only way to get over to the domestic terminal after you are unceremoniously shown the door in Intl. Arrivals. Sometimes the line is huge and you have to wait for multiple buses. I waited about 45 minutes once. Then the bus is gross and bumpy and it takes about 25 minutes to go that short distance because of all the stop lights. I really think those buses do not have shock absorbers. At all.
You cannot take a train to Gateway Center from the Intl. Terminal, as someone suggested. You can only use that conveyance from the Domestic Terminal.
So there you have it.
