I'm in the situation that I'm Platinum, but my family member with a bunch of 50k FNCs isn't. We will stay together using their FNCs. In the past, I've had a very generous international hotel afford benefits based on the 2nd guest's status; I obviously don't expect it. Has anyone encountered such generosity in the US?

On the other hand, I assume there's zero chance that my SNA could be applied to a stay booked from their account, is that right?
