I did fly LH business class in February this year and it is a lot better than economy but not as good as many business class on other airlines certainly no where near as good as BA club suite.
Do you always pay F? If so, perhaps the Gold card is less important to you, and your cash is buying most of the priority services anyway. AF F is a real treat.
But if you get a good BA crew, BA F is also quite nice. Just don't expect great ground service on the journey.
