To the op: I think you're too late for 2023, and should aim for redemption in 2024.
Earn your miles in 2022-2023 and try booking at 330 days out.
I've taken my family (4 adults) to Europe in J twice. Lots of AS miles used, required flexibility, but both were fun. Watch fares for 2023, and be ready to pounce!
