I recently traveled with Asiana and had my TSA pre-check number associated with the booking and showing on the BP.
When I got to the security desk at LAX, the officer couldn't process me as Pre-Check as my id wasn't showing as associated with the program. The officer recognised the BP had the logo but said the id check was the ultimate decision-maker.
I've never experienced this before and it hasn't happened again since, just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and whether it was an anomaly or something else? I should add that I didn't have any secondary screening associated with SSSS at all either.
Did TSA scan BP or did they swipe your identification into a reader? If the later, then yes your BP irrelevant as TSA is not even going to look at it.
