I don't know how that works, but it sounds logical. Right now it appears the earliest date is around Jan 14-15. Now that Japan is opening to individual tourism without visa, I imagine it will be more difficult to cancel and condense everyone into UA 32. I'm surprised they are still keeping the flame alive for UA 39, which was first scheduled for the 2020 olympics.
