We bit the bullet and paid the upgrade to the bi-level suite. Figured that: 1. The original 25k/night redemption is a legit deal here. 2. Used a suite upgrade and the paid upgrade is on top of that, so it's a good deal (the suite upgrade would also have expired) 3. The extra $2700 (before taxes) generates 13,500 more points to be used later. 4. That bi-level suite looks kick .... Only downside I can see is that we won't want to leave the room to hike, day trip to Nevis, eat out... Good problems

Will report back in Dec RE the stay.
