I could have pushed back and gone full DYKWIA when requesting late checkout, but I got what I needed so no need to make it unpleasant. Overall it was a pleasant stay minus those two hiccups.
I definitely agree - Since you were posting after checking out I just mentioned that for others who may be staying in the future.
