Stayed one night last night while in town to visit with some other FTers. Stayed here mostly because I had a soon to expire cat. 1-4 cert and as a Globalist, am tiring of limited service properties. Arrived around 1pm on Saturday and was told my upgraded corner room wasn't available yet, so I said I'll take any room now over a better room later, and was given a room on the 10th floor with a view of the not picturesque side of downtown. As noted, the rooms are tiny, I've stayed in rooms in Manhattan that are gargantuan in comparison. Not going to bother posting pics, as Sandy Hopper's post upthread is the same as my room. Breakfast in Grey Market was very good. I got the low country breakfast and everything was delicious. Biscuit tasty, bacon cooked perfectly, good grits. Valet service was prompt too. As a Glob, I'd stay here again, the tiny rooms notwithstanding. The location is great and it's a pretty good value in comparison to other properties downtown.
