I recently drove from LA, CA to Minot, ND and back again. 3000 miles.
Hampton Inn's all the way.
They all met my expectations.
Inexpensive, room selection, free water/snacks, WiFi, Breakfast, Pools.

What are you looking for? Concierge?
(I don't really expect 'elite' benefits such as I get in Venice.)
