My daughter just decided to sprint for GGL before the end of the year (3750 vs 5000 entry) as she values CCR and wants to give out the 1G+2S cards etc. to family and scored some unexpected points on business travel last month.
One of the TP runs she booked today was a Lisbon 5 night Holiday long weekend (Thur-Tue) with car for £500 for 160TP with a LIS-MAD-JFK-LAX-LAS//LAS-PHX-PHL-LHR-LIS inside it for £1630 and 720 TP. So 880 for £2200+hotels - not bad for a "late booking".
Looking for another out to Asia or "in Asia" to get 600 or so more - but not many QR "560" deals around... Any current ideas (preferably avoiding CMB..) to avoid a repeat of the LIS-LAS or a LIS-BUR???
