Related question from this UA and DL flyer:

If US liquidates, what is the procedure for reallocating those European routes? Does UA have any benefit by being US's main codeshare and StarAlliance partner? Personally, I would love to see UA strengthen its European presence to help make it through these tough times. I would be thrilled if they picked up MAD and FCO.
