Serious question, if you're flying MAN-BKK regularly, why not switch to BA/QR?
Luckily I no longer have to fly to Africa so the routes I take are all 380 now from either MAN or LHR. I had a few awful months stuck on 777 but that was at a time when their were pilot shortages not due to lack of demand so most J experiences then were op-ups. I’d never pay EK business prices.
